<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing equipment for storing the residual quantity (or consumption) of a recording medium highly precisely.SOLUTION: A printing equipment comprises: a transportation roller 12; a printing head 11; a cutter mechanism 30 for cutting a printed tape 150" printed by the printing head 11; a winding core 41 for winding the printed tape 150" printed by the printing head 11; and a tape cartridge memory for storing the residual quantity (or consumption) of a printed tape 150. A CPU calculates a first consumption of the printed tape 150 on the basis of the conveyance amount of the printed tape 150, corrects the residual quantity or consumption of the printed tape 150, which is stored in the tape cartridge memory, by the calculated first consumption, and corrects the residual quantity or consumption of the printed tape 150, which is stored in the tape cartridge memory, by using a predetermined second consumption, at the momentum of the execution operation of the preparation processing at the operation part or PC.</p> |
