摘要 This vinylidene fluoride copolymer is a polymer that is obtained by copolymerizing at least one fluorine-based monomer selected from among hexafluoropropylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride, and a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein X represents a hydroxy group or an atomic group that has a carboxy group and a main chain having 1-19 atoms, while having a molecular weight of 517 or less). This vinylidene fluoride copolymer is obtained by adding the compound represented by formula (1) to the fluorine-based monomer and the vinylidene fluoride separately or continuously in the copolymerization process. A gel electrolyte according to the present invention contains this vinylidene fluoride copolymer and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution. This gel electrolyte has an excellent balance between ion conductivity and gel strength.
