The present invention relates to a novel biomarker for neuroglioma and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a composition for diagnosing neuroglioma and a neuroglioma treatment method which targets the stanniocalcin protein. The composition for diagnosing neuroglioma comprises: a nucleic acid molecule encoding a stanniocalcin protein; a complementary nucleic acid molecule which is complementary to the nucleic acid molecule; a fragment of the nucleic acid molecule; a fragment of the complementary nucleic acid molecule; or an aptamer or an antibody which specifically binds to the stanniocalcin protein; or a functional fragment of the antibody.
