PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose the state of a refrigerating machine without increasing the storage capacity of a storage medium storing refrigerating machine operation data.SOLUTION: A refrigerating machine controller 74 comprises: a storage unit 18 storing operation data detected for each region of a turbo refrigerating machine; a compression unit 34 compressing a data size by converting the operation data whenever a condition in response to the type of the operation data is satisfied for the operation data that is accumulated in the storage unit 18 and whose data size increases over time; and a diagnosis unit 36 evaluating a state of the turbo refrigerating machine on the basis of the operation data obtained by conversion by the compression unit 34.
