The present invention relates to a surge protector damage checking and automatic converting apparatus for checking damage of surge protectors by installing a plurality of surge protectors in parallel and applying a test voltage to the connected surge protectors, which can prevent damaging electronic devices connected to the surge protectors. The main features of the present invention include: a case (100) having a particular shape; a current input unit (200) for receiving external current; a current output unit (300) for providing the input current to external electronic devices; surge protectors (400), wherein a plurality of surge protectors are arranged in parallel between the current input unit (200) and the current output unit (300), are selectively connected to the current input unit (200) and receive current; a relay (500) arranged between the current input unit (200) and the surge protectors (400) for selectively connecting the surge protectors (400) to the current input unit (200); and a surge protector damage checking unit (600) for checking damages of the surge protectors (400) connected to the current input unit (200) by applying current between the current input unit (200) and the current output unit (300).
