<p>The method for detecting a moving object comprises: generating a plurality of fields of view (Zkp) by means of a first telescope array (Tij), the set of fields (FOVij) of each telescope (Tij) having a spatial distribution inscribed in a conical crown (CC) of a defined spatial plane (PO) called the optical plane, said optical plane being nonparallel to at least one of the optical axes (AO(Tij)) of a telescope (Tij) and said conical crown (CC) having a diameter defining a large detection field; detecting at least one trace of a moving object (M1) in the field (FOVij) of at least one telescope (Tij) using an electronic detector (Tij), the integration time of the electronic detector being defined so that the trace extends over a plurality of pixels for a given maximum orbital speed (VM) of the moving object and a minimum altitude of its orbit; and deducing a trajectory (TJSAT) of the moving object (M1).</p> |
