PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech transmitting and receiving unit that is for a mobile phone, contacts with an ear cartilage in a state of being attached to an ear, and includes a short-range wireless communication unit between a speech transmitting part and the mobile phone.SOLUTION: A head set 1481 includes a moving part 1491 that is attached to a right ear 28 by an ear hook part 1489 and held by an elastic body 1473. A cartilage conduction vibration part 1426 is held by the moving part 1491. The cartilage conduction vibration part 1426 is configured to contact with a tragus 32. The elastic body 1473 enables the moving part 1491 to bend toward the tragus 32, functions as buffer material to the cartilage conduction vibration part 1426, and protects cartilage conduction vibration part 1426 from a mechanical impact on the head set 1481.
