PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composite electrolyte membrane which enables the suppression of the worsening of its performance with time in addition to the increase in a mechanical strength and a proton conductivity, which have been a problem of a hydrocarbon-based polymer solid electrolytic film; and a method for manufacturing such a composite electrolyte membrane.SOLUTION: A composite electrolyte membrane comprises: a porous base material; and a crosslinked aromatic polymer electrolyte filled in pores of the porous base material. The crosslinked aromatic polymer electrolyte is produced by linking, by at least one kind of crosslinking components, an aromatic polymer electrolyte having ionizable groups at parts except ionizable groups. Of the crosslinking components, at least one kind of components has at least three reactive functional groups other than the ionizable groups per molecule, and the reactive groups are formed from a reactant of a compound which is not bound by an ester bond. |
