<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which makes a vehicle user less likely to perceive machine sound when a combiner is moved and thereby inhibits vehicle user's discomfort.SOLUTION: A head-up display device includes: a display 2 which emits light including information as a display image; a combiner 1 which is provided at a front visual field of a driver seat and projects display light D to display images; driving means 3 which moves the combiner 1 into an erection state or a storage state at an instrument panel C of a vehicle B; and control means 4 which inputs vehicle information and emits a control signal which urges the driving means 3 to move the combiner 1. The control means 4 performs boarding determination process for determining whether or not an operation for getting in a vehicle is conducted by a vehicle user E on the basis of at least a state signal indicating an opening/closing state of a door of the vehicle B from among the vehicle information. When the getting-in operation is conducted, the control means 4 uses the driving means 3 to move the combiner 1 into the erection state.</p> |
