<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell high in endurance.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell 10 comprises: an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and an outer sheath 21 formed by superposing sheets, and enclosing the electrode body. The outer sheath 21 has: an enclosing part enclosing the electrode body between the sheets; and a peripheral part 29 arranged by superposing the sheet around the enclosing part. The peripheral part 29 has thermal fusion parts 31 where the sheet is thermally fused to seal the enclosing part. The thermal fusion parts 31 have folded parts 33 arranged by the folding of the thermal fusion part 31 owing to the folding back of the peripheral part 29. The folded parts 33 each have a concave part 35 formed on an outer surface of the sheet as a result of thermal re-fusion of the sheet.</p> |
