This method for producing a ceramide dispersion composition involves: obtaining a coarse dispersion liquid by heating a mixture containing a ceramide, a nonionic surfactant, and a polyvalent alcohol, which is contained in an amount equal to 10 to 12,000 times the mass of the ceramide, to a temperature of at least 100°C, and then subjecting the same to a dispersion treatment; and mixing the coarse dispersion liquid with water or a composition containing water, and thereafter, subjecting the same to a high-pressure emulsification treatment. |
