The device (1) has a synchronizer disc provided in a synchronizer and movable in an axis direction (a) of a shaft. A bifurcated, axially and displaceably supported operating member (4) axially displaces a pressing member (7, 8) provided with roller bearings (5, 6) e.g. axial needle bearing or axial cylinder roller bearing. The roller bearings are arranged in front side regions (9, 10) of the pressing members and formed such that rolling members (11) of the roller bearings directly contacts the synchronizer disc.
