摘要 An objective of the present invention is to reduce the number of pressure sensors which are installed upon a terminal crimping device which comprises a plurality of applicators, simplifying and lowering the cost of crimping force detection equipment. Provided is a terminal crimping device (1), comprising: a plurality of applicators (8) for terminal crimping which are positioned in parallel; a common ram (7) which couples the required applicators via clutches (9); a pair of crank arms (6) which raises and lowers the common ram; and drive parts (3, 4, 5) which drive the pair of crank arms. The common ram (7) is configured from a pair of small blocks (10) which is coupled to the pair of crank arms (6), and a large block (11) which is separated from the pair of small blocks. A pair of pressure sensors (12) is disposed between the pair of small blocks and the large block. Crimping force waveforms (57) which are detected with the pair of pressure sensors (12) are added together, the resulting total crimping force waveform (58) is compared to a reference value, and a determination is made of whether a terminal crimping in the required applicators (8) is defective.
