摘要 According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device comprises the steps of: forming a gate line and a data line on a first substrate, and forming a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; forming a first protective film and an organic film on the first substrate; forming an edge of an inclination portion by removing the organic film, except for a portion thereof, in a location where a first drain contact hole, which exposes a drain electrode of the thin film transistor, is to be formed; forming a second protective film having a third drain contact hole which exposes the drain electrode, a first electrode having a second drain contact hole which exposes the drain electrode, and the first drain contact hole, through an etching process by using one etching mask; and forming a second electrode on the second protective film. The first drain contact hole, the second drain contact hole, and the third drain contact hole are formed to overlap each other. The size of the second drain contact hole is formed larger than that of the third drain contact hole.
