A disposable dispenser unit comprises a fluid reservoir 20, a tag 29 for storing information, a dispenser head having a pump chamber 55 and at least one injector nozzle 40, and a means 45 disposed at the dispenser head for attachment to a diagnostic system. Preferably, the tag is an radio frequency identification (RFID) tag, and the diagnostic system comprises an RFID reader. The unit may be made of an opaque material, and may comprise a fluid sensor 26 for detecting a fluid 22 within the fluid reservoir. The fluid reservoir may be a bag or a bottle located above, and in fluid connection with, the pump chamber. The means for attaching the disposable dispenser unit to a diagnostic system may be a carriage 100 that can be moved up and down by a drive 115. |
