<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lime granular materials with high hardness and excellent in disintegrability which can be suitably used as fertilizer, in the granulation of washed and dehydrated cake of limestone not utilized effectively. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing lime granular materials comprises: mixing washed and dehydrated cake of limestone with expansive clay, in a ratio of 1-5 pts.mass of the expansive clay to 100 pts.mass (solid content) of the washed and dehydrated cake of limestone; granulating the cake with a vacuum granulator; and drying the granule.
