<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass substrate which, in a production process of various displays, is hardly electrostatically charged, hardly sticks to a plate, and hardly causes disconnection of a wiring film, poor formation of TFT, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the glass substrate having a first surface and a second surface, the average surface roughness Ra of the first surface is controlled to 0.2 nm or less, and the second surface is chemically treated with a medical fluid containing 0.05-5 mass% of HF or 20 mass% or more of NH<SB>4</SB>F so that the average surface roughness Ra of the second surface may be controlled to 0.3-1.5 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
