<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a heavy load that can improve wet performance while suppressing deterioration in rolling resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The tire for the heavy load includes circumferential grooves formed in a tread part and consecutively extended in a tire circumferential direction, a plurality of land parts A2 demarcated by the circumferential grooves, width direction grooves 130 shallower than the circumferential grooves, sipes 120 formed in the groove bottom of the width direction grooves, and first shallow grooves 10 and second shallow grooves 20 shallower than the circumferential grooves. The first shallow grooves 10 are arranged consecutively in the tire circumferential direction while being extended in the tread width direction.
