<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoloring apparatus and a control method for the decoloring apparatus to enable a user to know a state of a decolorization part at a proper timing. <P>SOLUTION: The decoloring apparatus includes: a conveyance member for conveying a sheet; a decolorization part for decolorizing an image formed on the sheet conveyed by the conveyance member; a control part which counts the processing number of sheets whose images are decolorized by the decolorization part, and determines whether or not the processing number exceeds a predetermined threshold value; a notification interface which outputs a signal to notify that cleaning of the decolorization part is needed when the processing number exceeds the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
