<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate wastewater inflow even when pumping discharge of wastewater largely varies. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 10 calculates: wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i1</SB>at an arbitrary time t using a linear function indicating changes in the wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i</SB>at each predetermined time interval derived from integrated values of wastewater pump discharge Q<SB POS="POST">0</SB>at each predetermined time interval; the wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i2</SB>at the arbitrary time using the wastewater pump discharge Q<SB POS="POST">0</SB>at the arbitrary time t as well as a water level L of wastewater 4; and a weighted sum of the calculated wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i1</SB>and the wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i2</SB>as the wastewater inflow Q<SB POS="POST">i</SB>at the arbitrary time.
