Use of yeasts for treating stomach or intestinal ulcers induced by gastrotoxic agents

Yeast cells (I), for prevention or treatment of stomach or intestinal ulcers, are new. Independent claims are included for: (1) a pharmaceutical composition comprising (I) as an active ingredient, at least one active ingredient having gastrointestinal toxicity, optionally in association with a vehicle; and (2) a kit comprising (I) in a primary compartment, and at least one active ingredient having gastrotoxic activity in a secondary compartment. ACTIVITY : Antiulcer. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
