<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foam food that maintains a sparkling feeling for a long time and excels in mouth sensation and appearance and also in durability, and a method for producing the foam food. <P>SOLUTION: The foam food is obtained by providing an edible core material with a coating layer. The coating layer contains carbonate, acid and solid fat, and the solid fat content has the gradient of concentration. The foam food can be produced by performing once or more a process for melting the solid fat, then spraying the melted solid fat to the edible core material which is a center layer, and sprinkling a foaming component before the solid fat is solidified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
