<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can be reduced in size compared with the case where an auxiliary member is attached, maintains printing speed during continuous printing, and maintains good charging property for a long period of use. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes calculation means that corrects image data using a calculation based on a data value of a pixel located on the upstream side in a sub-scanning direction closer to the pixel by the distance obtained by adding integral multiple of the peripheral length of charging means to the peripheral length of an image carrier, relative to the data value of the pixel of the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
