<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump device enabling 24-hour ventilation with a fixed ventilation amount without depending on load of the heat pump device without installing a system for 24-hour ventilation separately, and recovering heat from exhaust air. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump device includes: a heat exchanger 4 for introducing air and exchanging heat between the air and a heating medium; and a first fan 5 and a second fan 9 supplying air to the heat exchanger 4. Independently of the first fan 5, the heat pump device has a duct 11 for connecting an air intake port 8b of the second fan 9 with a ventilation port 10 provided on a wall of a room 2 and a rotational frequency holding means 9a for keeping the rotating frequency of the second fan 9 constant.
