The blade has a cover band for limiting a main flow channel and has two opposite side edges (16,18). A turbine blade (12) extends away from the cover band. A transition region (14) encompasses the turbine blade and is guided over one of the side edges. A section of the transition region is separated and is arranged as an elevation in the region of the one side edge. The section of the transition region is protruded over the other side edge. The elevation is displaced in transverse direction. The transition region merges tangentially in the cover band.
