<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush having high cleaning performance in both cervical area and tooth surface and excellent usability in cleaning the tooth cervix and cleaning the tooth surface. <P>SOLUTION: The toothbrush includes a head part 10 formed with a plurality of implanting holes and implanted with tufts of a plurality of bristles in the implanting holes and a handle part extended from the head part 10. In the area of 35 to 75% of the length L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the implanting area 12 running from the base end to the tip of the head part 10, the toothbrush has a pair of side edge tuft groups formed by implanting the side edge tufts adjoining each other across a middle line M of the implanting area 12 running from the base end to the tip of the head part 10, implanted apart from each other at a distance of 25 to 50% of the length L<SB POS="POST">4</SB>perpendicular to the middle line M of the implanting area 12 and a central bristle tuft group formed with implanted central bristle tuft between the pair of side edge tuft groups, wherein the length of the central bristle is 90% or less of the length of the side edge tuft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
