<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor capable of reducing failures in a load test under a humid condition even when the thickness of a base electrode of an external electrode is small. <P>SOLUTION: The multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a capacitor body 1 that has dielectric layers 5 and internal electrode layers 7 which are laminated alternately; base electrodes 3 provided to an end face 1a, from which the internal electrode layers 7 of the capacitor body 1 are exposed, and an end face 1b neighboring the end face 1a; and an external electrode having a coated electrode provided to the base electrode 3. The base electrode 3 contains copper as the major component and zinc; the denseness is 96% or more; and the thickness of the base electrode 3 at the end face 1a side of the capacitor body 1 is 20μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
