PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a rolling fatigue life of a zirconia-yttria rolling element.SOLUTION: The rolling element is an oxide system ceramic body which includes zirconia (ZrO)-alumina (AlO) as a principal component. This rolling support device is provided as following. In the rolling element, crystal grain diameter of alumina is larger than 1/5 of crystal grain diameter of stabilized zirconia grain, and is less than 3 times of mixed mean grain diameter of alumina-stabilized zirconia, and moreover, the mean grain diameter of alumina is 3 μm or less. |
