Combustion chamber wall

A gas turbine engine has a combustion chamber whose wall has a number of heat shields attached by spring clips, each enclosed within a sleeve. Each spring is retained by a bayonet fitting inserted through a hole (34) in the clip. The spring clip is further secured against the burner inner wall by a second bayonet fitting and is removable from the combustion chamber inner wall.
