Disclosed are a drain system having a power-off function and a drain method using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the drain system having a power-off function comprises: a drain pump unit arranged to perform drainage; a drain hose unit connected to the drain pump unit to be arranged in a drain position for drainage; a drain detection unit arranged in the drain hose unit from the drain position. and detecting a level of water flowing into the inside of the drain hose unit; and a pump control unit operating or stopping the drain pump unit in accordance of a water level of the drain hose unit provided by the drain detection unit.
