<p>The present invention relates to a pharmacuetical composition for treating, alleviating, or preventing tuberculosis, a health food composition for treating or preventing tuberculosis, a feed composition for treating or preventing the same, an animal medical substance composition for treating, allevating, or preventing the same, and a quasi-drug composition for treating or preventing the same, containing artemisinin as an active ingredient. The artemisinin is an antimalarial agent and a bioactive substance contained in medicinal plants, and no anti-tuberculosis effect has been reported recently. More specifically, it is verified that the substance has antibacterial activity or antibiotic effects on tuberculosis bacillus, and can be used as a composition for treating, alleviating, or preventing tuberculosis using the same. The pharmaceutical composition, the health food composition, the feed composition, the animal medical substance composition, and the quasi-drug composition according to the present invention may be used as an antibiotic composition for treating, alleviating, or preventing tuberculosis by having antibacterial activity or antibiotic effects on tuberculosis bacillus.</p> |
