SUBMERGED COMBUSTION VAPORIZER

The objective of the present invention is to improve environmental performance by reducing harmful substances in an exhaust gas, in a submerged combustion vaporizer which divides air supplied from a blower into first air and second air. The submerged combustion vaporizer (1) comprises: a heat exchanger (12) which is submerged and arranged in a water tank; a burner (2) which burns air supplied from the blower (4) and fuel supplied from a fuel supply source; a downcomer (13) which is configured to guide a combustion gas from the burner (2) into the water tank; a plurality of sparge pipes (15) which are configured to discharge an exhaust gas into water; and a manifold (17) which is configured to distribute the exhaust gas to each sparge pipe. The air supplied to the burner is divided into the first air for combustion introduced in a combustion chamber of the burner and second air for non-combustion which is not introduced into the combustion air. The second air joins the combustion gas from the burner at a bottom part of the downcomer or the manifold.
