<p>The machine comprises a bearing structure (103), a first guide drum (109) for guiding at least one cutting wire (F) and a second guide drum (111) for the cutting wire. The first guide drum and the second guide drum are movable along the bearing structure and define an active branch of the cutting wire (F) for cutting stone blocks (B) or the like. The first guide drum is motorized. The machine further comprises at least one tension pulley (117, 119) for each cutting wire (F). Each tension pulley is provided with tensioning members for tensioning the respective cutting wire driven around the tension pulley. Each cutting wire (F) forms a single span between the respective tension pulley (117, 119) and the first guide drum (109). Moreover, each tension pulley is movable along a tensioning direction (D) not parallel to the active branch of the respective cutting wire (F).</p> |
