PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable driving by photovoltaic power generation while sufficiently suppressing sensitivity deterioration of an antenna in an electronic timepiece receiving a radio wave and displaying information.SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece 200 includes a dial 52 displaying a time on a surface 52a, a plane antenna 11, and a solar cell 51. The plane antenna 11 is arranged on a surface 52b behind the dial 52 and overlapping the dial 52 in a vertical direction orthogonal to the dial 52, extends in an extended direction of the dial 52, and receives a radio wave transmitted through the dial 52. The solar cell 51 is arranged between the dial 52 and the plane antenna 11 in the vertical direction, and extends in the extended direction of the dial 52. The plane antenna 11 is square and a horizontal distance d is 0.2 times a surface dimension c or larger in the extended direction of the dial 52. |
