PURPOSE:To deodorize efficiently the exhaust gas from the drying process of the substrate impregnated with phenol resin and herewith to utilize effectively the waste heat, by contacting the above-mentioned exhaust gas with the catalyst after having been preheated with the heat exchanger and by passing the generating combustion gas of high concentration further through the heat exchanger.
