The present invention relates to a method for decoding, by a receiver device, a spread spectrum coded stream of information including a multiple spectrum codeword block. The decoding includes determining a number of valid codewords in a specific block of the codewords. The specific block of the cordwords is demapped based on a first specific number of invalid cordwords in the specific block of the cordwords, and parity cordwords of the specific block of the cordwords are discarded. A syndrome component is calculated by using at least one coding list accompanied with a renewal process of the single component syndrome based on a second specific number of the invalid codes in the specific block of the cordwords, the coding lists are continued upon the syndrome component, the specific block of the cordwords are demapped, and the parity codewords of the specific block of the cordwords are discarded. |
