<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily manufacturing a liquid crystal element having plural liquid crystal layers. <P>SOLUTION: In a first cut-off step, a mother lamination material 30 is cut off into plural parts to produce plural lamination members 31 and 32 each having at least one inner cavity 16b, 20b, and 25b. In an injection step, liquid crystal is injected into inner cavities 16b, 20b, and 25b of each of the lamination members 31 and 32 from injection ports 16a, 20a, and the 25a, and the injection ports 16a, 20a, and 25a are sealed to thereby form liquid crystal layers 35a-35c. Intermediate mother glass plates 14 and 19 are formed with plural mother glass plates 14a, 14b, 19a, and 19b.
