<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural type to eliminate disadvantages of a rigid frame structure or a brace structure which is a type of steel frame structure for a general building, each having different features including necessity of a brace and the size of the cross section of a column or a beam, in a relation replacing advantages and disadvantages each other and existing disadvantage in the respective. <P>SOLUTION: A steel frame structure for a building includes a structure unit (transportable on a public road) in a portion of the structure. The structure unit bears the horizontal load of the building. This reduces the stress applied to a column or a beam, so that the cross section thereof can be efficient and economical.
