Provided is a method for decoding an interlayer video comprising the steps of: obtaining motion inheritance information from a bitstream; if the motion inheritance information indicates that motion information of a block in a first layer corresponding to a current block in a second layer can be used as motion information of the second layer, determining whether it is possible to use motion information of a sub-block containing pixels of a predetermined position of the first layer block, the sub-block being among the sub-blocks of the first layer block corresponding to the sub-blocks of the current block; if the motion information of the sub-block containing pixels of a predetermined position of the first layer block can be used, obtaining motion information of the sub-blocks of the first layer block; and determining motion information of the sub-blocks of the current block on the basis of the obtained motion information of the sub-blocks of the first layer block.
