The present invention relates to an electric compressor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an oil separation pipe is indented into an oil separation chamber through an assembly hole at the bottom of the oil separation chamber, wherein the upper edge of the oil separation pipe adheres to the bottom of an engaging protrusion of the oil separation chamber to be supported in order to prevent a vortex during the discharge of a refrigerant. Therefore, the electric compressor reduces discharge resistance to improve the efficiency.
