<p>The invention relates to a shower unit having a back plate 5 and a front unit (11 figure 2), whereby the front unit includes the main shower mechanism and the back plate includes permanent connections to an electrical 3 and water supply 4. Should the shower unit become faulty, it may be changed by replacing the front unit without the need to remove the backplate and without the need of professional help. The rear panel is permanently attached to the water and electrical supplies and once fitted, it does not need to be removed in case of fault with the main front panel. The front unit is removeably connected to the backplate by sliding on internal runners or tracks 6 on the backplate. The front unit is then held in place by push clips 1. The front panel will slide down the tracks and make the electrical and water connections 7 & 8 with the back panel, thus activating the mechanism to work.</p> |
