<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food cutting device configured to receive cut food with a prescribed posture kept as it is and descend, and capable of further improving the workability of taking out the cut food. <P>SOLUTION: The food cutting device is provided with: a food placement table 5 on which food 10 is placed; a first driving mechanism 6 for moving the food placement table 5; a cutting blade 3 arranged in the moving track of the food 10 moved together with the food placement table 5 by the first driving mechanism 6 for cutting the food into round slices; a fixed inclination guide member 81 for guiding the cut food obliquely downwards; a receiving member 82 which receives the cut food and is guided by the inclination guide member and vertically moved; and a second driving mechanism for driving the receiving member 82 in the vertical direction between a food receiving position and a food takeout position 8.
