<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly accurately estimating the coke surface fracture strength after dry distillation from the form of coal, and a method for manufacturing a coke using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for estimating a coke surface fracture strength is such that a primary estimation value of the coke surface fracture strength is determined from a vitrinite average reflectance R<SB POS="POST">o</SB>of a coal, a void filling degree S of the coal, and a formulation ratio of the coal, based on a relationship between the vitrinite average reflectance R<SB POS="POST">o</SB>of the coal and the surface fracture strength DI<SP POS="POST">150</SP><SB POS="POST">6</SB>of the coke obtained by dry distilling the coal under the condition of the void filling degree S of≥1.3, and a relationship between the void filling degree S and the coke surface fracture strength DI<SP POS="POST">150</SP><SB POS="POST">6</SB>; and the primary estimation value is corrected by using an exinite content E of the coal based on a relationship between the differenceΔDI between an actually measured surface fracture strength and the primary estimation value and the exinite content E in the coal of R<SB POS="POST">o</SB>≥1.0, and the method for manufacturing a coke is such that the coke is manufactured on the estimation of the surface fracture strength using this method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
