PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems with a conventional method of producing a crystalline polyester resin: cooling of a solution and milling of crude dispersion are needed, and therefore, much time and energy are required for these processes; and contamination by an undesired substance in a product, such as milling beads used for milling the crude dispersion, may occur.
SOLUTION: After preparing a melt of a crystalline polyester resin, the melt is mixed with a compressible fluid, and the melt is solidified to be granulated. In this way, resin particles with a small particle diameter can be obtained without milling crude dispersion, so that time and energy required for granulation can be reduced. Contamination in a product, caused in milling by materials not to be mixed, can be also prevented.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
|
