<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard fence which can be stably mounted on a ground covering part while cross rails of the guard fence are installed backward as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A guard fence P includes cross rails 2 mounted between columns 1 erected on a ground covering part R of a road side edge. The column 1 is fixed on a base part 4 which is fixed on the ground covering part R to which a column body 3 is fixed by anchor bolts, the column body 3 including a front flange part 31 to which the cross rail 2 is mounted, a rear flange part 32 to which the cross rail 2 is mounted, and a connection piece 33 for connecting the front and rear flange parts 31, 32. The rear flange part 32 is bent obliquely and backwardly from a rear side rising piece 32a fixed to the base part 4 to provide a folded part 34, and a joint surface 35 where the rear flange part 32 and the connection piece 33 join is configured to be positioned more rearward than the folded part 34 above the folded part 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
