Embodiments disclose a method for establishing a service session in a wireless peer-to-peer (P2P) network. A method of generating a service session in a wireless P2P network is provided. The method includes a process of transmitting intent to an advertiser device from a searcher device in near field communications (NFC) data exchange between the advertiser device and the searcher device. Here, the intent corresponds to one or more services or one or more parameters. Also, the method includes a process of establishing a service session between the advertiser device and the searcher device if one or more services are supported by the advertiser device.
