The present invention relates to a connector which can be combined to a counter connector along a combining direction. The connector comprises a housing, a plurality of first contacts, a plurality of second contacts and a ground plate. The housing has a plate part which is extended in a plane defined by the combining direction and a pitch direction perpendicular to the combining direction. The plate part has a first main plane and a second main plane which is a rear plane of the first main plane, in a direction perpendicular to both of the combining direction and the pitch direction. The first contact is supported by the housing. The first contact has a first touch part respectively. The second contact is supported by the housing. The second contact has a second touch part respectively. The ground plate has a main part. A plurality of through-holes is formed in the main part. Each through-hole penetrates the main part at the direction thereof, and also has a closed edge on the plane thereof. The main part is embedded in the plate part by insert molding. The main part is located between the first touch part and the second touch part at the direction thereof. |
