<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that some people visit a site where coming and going are not specially limited at night in a structure of a protection object, especially in an important cultural property, and when a human body sensor is provided for the purpose of preventing arson and a device for warning or intimidating a person by the operation is provided, negative things like warning or intimidating a harmless visitor just by detecting him/her happen, a noise problem to neighborhood may arise and the structure to be protected is somewhat damaged when warning is performed after a fire is set. <P>SOLUTION: In an arson suppression system, an alert mode is started by the operation of a human body sensor, a camera and a light are activated and a sound output part is activated to output non-intimidating sound notifying that monitoring has been started. The mode is shifted to an intimidation mode by the operation of a flame sensor, and intimidation is executed by the light and sound.
