<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas detector that has a power supply unit in which a rechargeable battery and a circuit board are buried in a resin, and by which an amount of a resin to be filled can be reduced to save weight with respect to the power supply unit, and further, by which a highly-reliable explosion-proof structure can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable gas detector, a power supply unit is attached removably to a gas detector main body. The power supply unit is configured, in a rectangular cylindrical housing member one side of which is opened and which is formed by two side walls and two flat walls, by burying in a thermoset resin a cylindrical rechargeable battery arranged in one side wall side region so as to extend in an axial direction along the one side wall, and a circuit board arranged at a position approximate to one flat wall of the other side wall side region so as to extend in the axial direction along the one flat wall. To the other side wall side region in an inner surface of the other flat wall of the housing member, a taper part inclined inward from an opening end side of the housing member toward an inner part in the axial direction is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
