<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus generating an ultrasonic image wherein a puncture needle is clearly visualized. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an image generation part, a detection part, and an image generation control part. The image generation part generates an ultrasonic image based on volume data generated from a reflected wave signal of an ultrasonic wave transmitted to a three-dimensional area from an ultrasonic probe. The detection part detects a puncture needle image wherein the puncture needle present in the three-dimensional area is visualized of the ultrasonic images generated by the image generation part, or detects the puncture needle present in the three-dimensional area based on the volume data used when the ultrasonic image is generated by the image generation part and outputs it as puncture needle data. The image generation control part controls the image generation part to generate a displaying image wherein the puncture needle is visualized by use of the puncture needle image or the puncture needle data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
